Steps in a Review
Fleet Review is one of the most valuable investments you can make in the future of your fleet. Here is a look at the process.
Are you wondering what is involved in Fleet Review? You can learn more about the components of a review in E3 Fleet Review Overview. Here is a look at the process.
Step 1: Sign Up
E3 Fleet Review is a service available to E3 Fleet members. You can sign up and pay for a Review at the time you join E3 Fleet, or you can choose to arrange a Review at a later date. Here's how to sign up.
Step 2: Organize and Deliver your Data
The E3 Fleet program helps fleet managers understand how to track and organize data for a Fleet Review. Each fleet undergoing review will receive a Fleet Review Input Form to complete, reflecting a year's worth of fleet vehicle-specific data.
If you are just getting started in tracking your fleet data, or if you need to establish a basic carbon footprint for your fleet, you may want to try our new E3 Lite Tool. E3 Lite is a simplified version of the full E3 Review form and is a good way to get started on data tracking.
Step 3: Participate in the Review
The E3 Fleet review consists of three levels: 1) operational profile, 2) fleet asset profile and 3) fleet asset management profile. Once you submit your Fleet Review Input Form, an E3 Fleet reviewer will analyze the data using custom review software. The reviewer generates a comprehensive report for each level of review and is available to discuss the results and opportunities for improvement.
Step 4: Look for Ways to Boost Performance
The E3 Fleet Review provides a custom report and flags key opportunities to improve fleet performance. Participating in a Review every year helps identify key trends. Municipal fleets can also compare their results with those reflected in our 2010 Municipal Benchmark Report.
For fleets interested in pursuing a Fleet Rating, this is also the time to develop a strategy to qualify for a Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum rating. In terms of improving performance, most fleet managers will want to consider:
